Yesterday’s Poker Run for Rett Syndrome was a resounding success. We extend our sincerest gratitude to the following locations for their hospitality and support in spreading awareness about this cause: Verona VFW, Sherrill American Legion, Oneida American Legion, Bridgeport VFW, Constantia VFW, Camden American Legion, Taberg American Legion, and Sylvan Beach American Legion (our host). We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Bridgeport VFW for their generous donation of meat and cheese for our riders. Constantia VFW also deserves special recognition for their significant contribution, which helped us raise additional funds for our cause. Furthermore, we would like to thank Patrick “Capt” Neal from Philadelphia, NY American Legion for participating in our event and traveling a long distance to ride with us. His presence was a welcome addition to our group. Lastly, we are deeply grateful to Sylvan Beach American Legion Post 1153 for their unwavering support and to the SALs who stayed late to ensure our riders enjoyed an excellent steak dinner. We truly appreciate their dedication. Following our October meeting, we will announce the final figures and details of our fundraising efforts.
