FREE Toys for Kids - Coming to Cherokee, NC! 🎁🧸✨

We’re excited to welcome our amazing partners from Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) on June 18th as they bring Christmas in June to the children of our region!

CAP has been with us since our journey began in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, delivering truckloads of supplies to our warehouse for WNC. And when Kentucky needed help, we've been honored to support them right back. 💙

Huge thanks to our Cherokee partners for hosting this special event and making it all possible! 🙌

We are excited about our Fundraiser on Saturday, April 12th at Innovation Station in Dillsboro from 4-8 pm 🎉

This event will ensure the future of our mission and we hope to see you all there!
If you'd like to support but won't be able to join us, we have Venmo and PayPal, the QR codes are below and we are on both platforms.

Soon we will have our GiveButter account up and running where you can become a monthly donor.

We could not have made it to six months of serving our community and neighbors without your support, and we need your help to continue doing what we do best—helping those who need it most.

A Sylva disaster supply distribution center looks for a sustainable future to support the region in the next disaster. Mountain CORE Mission is hosting a benefit on April 12.

**New Addition**
Our partner Operation Rising Sun has agreed to be another sponsor for the celebration benefit tomorrow!! That means $3 total from every pint sold during the event will be donated to MCM!!

Mountain CORE Mission's benefit celebration is just two days away on Saturday, April 12th from 4-8 at Innovation Station in Dillsboro! We would like to thank in advance our business sponsors for the event, Innovation Brewing, where this all began, and Mountain Flora. Innovation Brewing is donating $1 for each pint sold during the event and Mountain Flora is matching the donation making every dollar two!

We are excited to see all our supporters and celebrate how far we've come and the future of disaster relief in Jackson County.

We just delivered a truckload of items requested by Swain County Emergency Management from the Sylva Warehouse to 80-90 brave firefighters battling the Alarka fire.

Photo of one of our volunteers Heather Clayton, a staff member at Western Carolina University, helping to load the truck with snacks, nazal flush, hand sanitizer, socks, deodorant, powder hydration packets, chapstick, foot powder, lotion, and other needed supplies alongside our Warehouse Operations Manager, Nantahala Chris, before he headed out this afternoon to deliver them.

We are grateful to be able to support our region in any and every way that we can. That is what we are here for.

Please pray for the heroes who are working nonstop to keep our mountain communities safe.

Please join us for a benefit to help Mountain CORE Mission at the Sylva Warehouse fund the future of disaster relief in Jackson County.
It will be Saturday, April, 12th from 4-8 pm at Innovation Station in Dillsboro - the location where our community joined together to help after Hurricane Helene hit and our mission began.

A lot is happening behind the scenes at the Sylva Warehouse. The most outwardly noticeable is our new branding with our official non-profit name, Mountain CORE Mission! (Thank you to Noya Design for donating your skills!)

We are working diligently and intentionally to create a self-sustaining organization that helps us accomplish our promise, "We're here until the job is done." Without the support of our community, we could not have gotten this far. A big thank you to everyone who has volunteered, donated, followed and shared, fed us, and given much-needed moral support when this work gets tough. Keep posted for more exciting news coming from your friendly local relief hub! (benefit party April 12th!!) Share and follow cause it really does take a village.
