Jackson County 4-H will celebrate National 4-H Week with opportunities for 4-H members, families and community members to get involved throughout the week.

Kick off! Get ready and read up on all of the fun for this week to have your ideas ready!
🍀 Go Green — Monday, October 5 🍀
On Monday, 4-H programs across the country will Go Green to show their 4-H spirit. 4-H members, professionals, volunteers, alumni and supporters are encouraged to wear green and share their celebration.
🍀 Get creative – Tuesday, October 6 🍀
What have you done in 4-H that has inspired creativity? Have you come to a craft night? Do you sew on your own? Maybe you were inspired to make a costume for your show animal this fair season. Let us know!
🍀 Get Healthy – Wednesday, October 7 🍀
Have you come to one of our cooking nights? Did your youth participate in summer camp with us? Has a new sport become your passion this school year? What do you do to stay healthy and active?
🍀 Thankful Thursday — Thursday, October 8 🍀
On Thursday, Thankful Thursday will encourage the 4-H community to show appreciation for the people, experiences and opportunities that make 4-H possible. Our volunteers, our parents, our teachers, our community. None of it would be possible without you!
🍀 Grow Your Future – Friday, October 9 🍀
4-H is all about making the best better. Preparing youth for work, for life, for college – whatever their future may hold. Share your experiences, and keep an eye out for resume and interview prep sessions offered this fall!
🍀 Celebrate – Saturday, October 10 🍀
As we wrap up the 4-H year here in Jackson County, look back at your year, at your accomplishments, and celebrate! The adults play a vital role, but it’s the youth that make the difference, that show up and show out every time. Make sure you take a minute to look back with pride on your 2026 year, and think about how you want to grow into 2027!
