Make your SUN Bucks go further at the farmers market!
Got SUN Bucks this summer? Each eligible child receives a one-time $120 to spend on groceries, and you can stretch those dollars further when you shop for fresh fruits and vegetables at the market.
The Jackson County Farmers Market offers Double Up Food Bucks: spend $20 in SNAP/EBT (including SUN Bucks) and they match it with another $20, up to $20 per visit. The market runs once a week, so that's an extra $20 in fresh produce every Saturday.
Saturdays, 9 am to noon, Bridge Park, downtown Sylva
Stop by the market info table, tell them how much you want to spend, and they'll add your match in tokens.
Want to learn to make every food dollar count? Join us at WNC From the Ground Up for our free SNAP/EBT learning series, every Tuesday at 11 am, 38 E Main St, Sylva:

July 7 — MIMB at the Market
Learn the ins and outs of using your benefits, then put them to work at the market on Saturday.
