It was another beautiful day in paradise…the Jackson County Farmers Market is having an awesome year: the weather has been great, our friends and customers are terrific, life at the market is wonderful. We have an event coming up: the third annual Salsa Showdown (chips and salsa, not dancing lol). It’s a friendly competition to see who makes the best salsa. It’s a fun party featuring live music by Hotdog Sunrise and Fuzzy Peppers. Innovation brewery will be there because what goes better with chips and salsa than a cold brew? Chili Chomper provides the chips. This is a fund raising event for the market, so by showing up and having a good time, you will also be doing the market a solid favor. Where? Bridge Park. When? Saturday, September 19, from 4 - 7:00.

🌶️ Mark your calendars for one of our favorite events of the year! 🌶️

The 3rd Annual Salsa Showdown Fundraiser is coming to Bridge Park on Saturday, September 19, from 4:00–7:00 PM, and it's shaping up to be our biggest one yet!

Come sample homemade salsas and cast your vote to help crown this year's Salsa Showdown Champion. Then stick around for an evening filled with live music from Hot Dog Sunrise local vendors, cold beer from Innovation Brewing, an exciting raffle featuring amazing donated prizes, and plenty of community fun.

Whether you're a salsa fanatic, love supporting local businesses, or just want to spend a beautiful September evening with friends and family, this is an event you won't want to miss.

Admission is free, and every raffle ticket purchased helps support the Jackson County Farmers Market and our mission to strengthen our local food system and support the farmers and makers who make our community thrive.

Coming to a Bridge Park near you…the third annual Salsa Showdown. Do you make a great salsa? Enter your salsa in the showdown, possibly win some fun prizes. Email us for details, [email protected].
