Bum Phillips once said, "Winning is only the half of it. Having fun is the other half." Our Senior Games program is not only about winning, but it's about keeping adults 50 and older active and healthy throughout the year while having fun!! We want to congratulate all of our participants from Smoky Mountain Senior Games that participated in the NC State Senior Games this past week in Raleigh, NC. Wishing much success to those that are competing within the month!!

There were 13,712 athletes age 50 and over who competed in 20 medal sports at the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, NM in June. Smoky Mountain Senior Games was represented very well by having 55 of our very own participants compete. Out of 55 participants, we had 31 receive an award. We are so very proud of all of our athletes and can't wait for the next National tournament in 2021.
