Thanks to our generous farmers, we have many small pumpkins left over from last weekend’s festival.

These beautiful little pumpkins are available at the Nature Center while they last.

$2 each or 3 for $5.

Visit us and load up on pumpkins this Saturday from 11-4:30 and 12-4:30 Sunday.!

Celebrate the beauty of fall with a family fun day at Piney Run Park! Join Carroll County Recreation & Parks on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for our annual Fall Festival & Four County Quilters Guild Quilt Show and Crafts!

Visit the Nature Center and yurt to admire beautiful quilts, learn about the art of quilt-making, and try your hand at sewing! Sewing crafts will be available for children, teens, and adults, so bring the whole family and discover something new.

The event is FREE!
Please note: Piney Run Park entrance fees apply on the day of the event.

Some fundraising purchases and activities will be cash only. An ATM will be onsite for your convenience.

Thanks to all of the talented basket weavers who attended Sunday's class. Your baskets came out so beautiful! We hope to see you at the next classes we will offer in the Fall with Joan at the Piney Run Nature Center.

Sunday we had the last class of the spring season at Piney Run Nature Center in Sykesville, MD. 3/4 of the class were NEW weavers! I was so impressed. Eveeryone's baskets turned out just lovely! Lots of fun...lots of learning! Welcome to the Basket Case Club to all the new weavers! Hope to see you again in the fall!
