“It was always just US.”
It’s been an absolute honor coaching these 12 young ladies but unfortunately our 2025-2026 season came to an end yesterday at Nationals.
Combining fall ‘25 with summer ‘26 the 11u Firebirds went 48-38-3. While the 48 wins were fun, I know our girls learned not just softball lessons but hopefully life lessons from the 38 losses. We were moved from “C” to “B” over the winter and our challenges as a team became greater as we entered into a few 12 Open tournaments.

USSSA 12O Black Eyed Susan Silver Bracket 2nd place
USA Fathers Day Governors Cup 2nd place
On top of all that, each girl has earned a nomination to play in the USSSA Mid-Atlantic All State Games in August.

To all my 12: As you continue your softball journey, may you look back on this season and remember the memories you made on and off the field. Please remember a few things:

* 2 outs, we’re going on contact
