Hydrant flushing is officially over. Thank you for your patience and understanding. . This is a necessary procedure to keep our system in good operating condition. Please remember, this process may cause temporary discoloration, but will not affect the water’s safety. Running the cold water several minutes should eliminate this problem.

Everyone's favorite time of year...... Bulk Trash Drop Off!!
May 11th-May 15th 8:00am-3:30pm & May 16th 8:00-Noon
VILLAGE RESIDENTS may bring unwanted items to the sanitary sewer plant during the posted hours.
Items that are NOT accepted include tires, batteries, brush/lawn clippings, liquids, and coolants which includes refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners.
There will be a sheet to sign your name and address at drop off.

The entire village is experiencing a power outage. We do not currently have a time frame for the outage but we do know crews are working hard to restore it. The office is currently unable to receive phone calls due to no power. If you have concerns you may reach out through our village Facebook messenger. Thank you for your continued patience.

Crews in the Village of Sycamore have been dispatched to access the current power outage situation. AEP is the source of the outage and is affecting a large part of the county. Those crews are working to restore power.
