The Friends of the Sweet Springs Public Library supports the library in many ways. All the bookcases in the library were furnished by the Friends. They sponsor book sales every year. It is a worthwhile organization.

June 2 is the start of our children's summer reading program. This year's theme is "Unearth a Story" featuring dinosurs. The program is for ages 3-16. Children 3-5 get credit for books read to them. The program lasts from June 2nd to July 25th. Everyone who participates willl receive a prize and those who read 330 minutes will receive a special prize. Check in often to see what special events are happening! Come by the library for more information. See you soon!!!
