The Sweet Home Community Foundation provides project guidance and monetary grants to local organizations that make this such a great place to live. In addition, SHCF is building a long term endowment to meet our community's future needs.

We are pleased to announce our 2026 Community Grant Awards.

This year’s SHCF community grants were funded by local individuals through the Sweet Home Community Foundation
Endowment and the Tim and Jo Ann McQueary- Leave a Local Legacy Endowment.

Grants were awarded in the following categories:
Children and Families, Education, Livability and Arts & Culture

2026 SHCF Community Grant recipients:
😀The Sweet Home Pregnancy Care Center- funds to purchase newborn sized car seats and vitamins.
😀Sweet Home Emergency Ministries (SHEM) – funds to purchase a new commercial refrigerator.
😀The MIKE Healthcare Program – funds to provide mentored health education, healthcare career exploration and a youth leadership summit in conjunction with the SHSD.
😀Meals on Wheels – funds for the Sweet Home area meal program.
😀Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce – funds to purchase additional tables and chairs that are available for community groups and events.
😀Lake Town Academy – funding for a student greenhouse for academic studies.
😀Sweet Home Youth Baseball – funds for baseball field improvements.
😀Hawthorne School PTC - funds to purchase ADA accessible playground equipment.

💡 Have an idea that could start or grow a project benefiting the Sweet Home community? We want to help make it happen.
✅ Grants from $500 to $50,000
✅ Awards announced in April 2026
✅ Apply online at giveshcf.org

Special consideration is given to projects that create lasting, positive community impact. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, tax-exempt organizations, or projects sponsored by one of the above.
