**Update: this committee, the former Swea City Pool Plunge is still active and is working on solutions for the Swea City Pool. After a recent committee meeting it was voted on expanding this group to also cover the park. This group of individuals wants to give the youth in our town the best experience and that includes making sure both the pool and park are updated. We have voted to change the committee name to Swea City Park and Recreation.
What we Need: Swea City Park and Recreation Committee is looking for community support for the proposed Playground equipment for Reynolds Park. The equipment that has been chosen will offer inclusive and adaptive options for kids of all ages and abilities. The Playground project will be funded separately from the current pool fund. The purpose is to add to the existing playground and extend the appeal of our park. Members of the committee are asking for community support of this project. Let’s come together and make our park a place that is a gathering place for families.
