Those who have been to Craft & Chat before know how you help us out …. Your attendance at Craft & Chats helps in our fundraising efforts for the Community House. Our building is over 100 years old and needs a little TLC! It is our hope that we can continue to grow our group and raise more funds for this Historic Building.
When you join us on the 19th we will be celebrating the most beautiful time of year, Fall. There will be Hot Mulled Apple C***r for you to enjoy (which will make the room smell wonderful) and a beautiful door prize. Whomever attends name will be put into a drawing for a beautiful gift.
Bring your current craft project, your community spirit, and a snack to share. Join us to work on a project or two, share your knowledge and learn from others, as well as help our community’s spirits. Also consider bringing a friend!!
We will supply you with table space, a chair, an electrical outlet, if necessary, a welcoming community, and lively conversation in a positive atmosphere. Please leave the politics at home.
We hope to see all kinds of crafts including but not limited to crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, card making, painting, drawing, rag rug hooking, jewelry making, quilling, quilting and the list goes on.
We are all responsible for picking up our work area, including sweeping our area if necessary.
The day runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is a $20.00 donation per person plus a snack/dish to share. Don’t forget to bring your own lunch and whatever you want to drink. The snack/dish we are asking you to bring is for snacking throughout the day. The Community House has a fully functioning kitchen so you can put your lunch in the fridge, make yourself a cup of tea (you supply the tea bag and sweetener) bring what you need to make coffee (we have a couple of coffee makers) or pop that bag of popcorn you want to bring in our microwave.
Your $20.00 donation is not required beforehand; however, we need to know if you are attending. It makes it difficult for us to set up for our Craft & Chat events if we don’t know how many of you are attending. Space is limited to the first 30, so if you want to guarantee yourself a spot, please send in your registration form at your earliest convenience or at least email us at [email protected] letting us that you are planning on attending so we are prepared when everyone arrives.
