This Friday, approximately 200 outstanding students and staff representing high school choirs, orchestras, and bands from across the state will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime, 16 day, European performance tour. During the tour, they will have the opportunity to perform and share their musical talents in England, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany.

We are especially proud that three Swanton High School choral students - Julianna Avery, Olivia Silveous, and Jocelyn Villagomez - have been selected to perform with this prestigious ensemble. In addition, Mr. Bender has the privilege of attending as a staff member, making this honor even more special for the Swanton Choral Department.

Congratulations to these talented students and Mr. Bender on this remarkable achievement. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and musical accomplishments, and we are excited for them as they embark on the trip of a lifetime!

The legendary Union Pacific Big Boy — the largest operating steam locomotive in the world — is making its way through Ohio!

Unfortunately, Swanton's train tracks won't be blessed with this once-in-a-lifetime visit 😢, but we're curious...

Today, The Swanton Alumni Foundation remembers and honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

As we gather with family, friends, and our Bulldog community this Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude on the freedoms we enjoy because of their courage and service.
