👮‍♂️🦢 WE HAD A GREAT VISIT TODAY! 🦢👮‍♀️

We had a fantastic time welcoming the students and staff from Pogies Academy to the Swansboro Police Department today! 👏

Our visitors got a behind-the-scenes look at the police department, learned a little about what we do, and, most importantly, had a chance to ask questions and spend some time with our officers.

We always enjoy having our community’s youngest members stop by for a visit! Building positive relationships with our kids and families is such an important part of what we do. ❤️💙

A BIG THANK YOU to Pogies Academy for coming to see us! We had just as much fun as you did and hope you’ll come back and visit us again soon! 🚔😊

Thank you for letting us be a part of your day!

When one of our associates dropped by the Swansboro Police Dept today to deliver a donation all of the 2 legged officers were out of the station. Officer Burney was more than happy to accept the donation in their absence. We would like to thank all our local law enforcement officers and first responders for all they do for our community!

The Swansboro Police Department in North Carolina received a RTS Tactical R***e Rated Mini-Shield.

Why mini?
⭐Smaller size allows for increased mobility
⭐Increased speed for rapid deployment
⭐More ideal for solo officer response and active threat scenarios make the most sense for this piece of safety equipment.
⭐Enhances officer handling without sacrificing critical protection
⭐More flexibility than a full-size ballistic armor

"This donation significantly enhances the safety and preparedness of our officers. Having access to specialized protective equipment such as this shield allows our department to better protect our personnel and the community we serve during high-risk incidents." - Benjamin M Brim, Deputy Police Chief, Swansboro Police Department
