📣 SUMMER VOLLEYBALL UPDATE! 🏐☀️

We've got a lot happening at Coastline over the next couple of weeks!

Registration is still open for several of our camps and clinics taking place this week and next week. If you've been thinking about signing up, now is the time! We still have spots available, but they won't last long.

We're also excited to announce that our July Youth Academy is now open for registration! This program fills up quickly every month, so don't wait too long to reserve your spot.

And due to popular demand, we're bringing back our Minnows Camp in August! 🦈💙

Our first Minnows Camp has been an absolute blast this week. The kids have had so much fun learning the game, staying active, and making new friends that we knew we had to offer another opportunity before summer ends.

Also, don't forget to check out registration for our new Stretch & Conditioning Class beginning next week. This is a great opportunity for athletes to improve flexibility, mobility, injury prevention, and overall athletic performance.

This past weekend, Coach Nick kicked off his Coastline coaching career. The athletes had a great time at our Level 1 & Level 2 clinics! Coastline is blessed to have him and our other great coaches.

Our Minnows 4-Day camp also kicked off this week. These youngsters are having the time of their lives. For most of them it is the first time truly being introduced to the game of Volleyball.

Beginner serving as well as beginner hitting clinics also found a spot this week. Defense starts tomorrow!!

We have a few more clinics out this week but tons more through the summer. Several are already full but spots are open in others. See you all soon!!

The pink wasn’t the only thing poppin’ this weekend. WOW!!

🏆 1st Place out of 40 Teams

These girls absolutely popped off this weekend and put on another show. Other teams awe at the fact we play so well together with only one girl even above 5’7”. . You can’t teach heart, hustle or the desire to win. You just hope the athletes you choose decide how they want their season to go.

We wanted this one bad.

We knew Saturday would be critical. If we wanted a shot at the championship, we first had to earn our way into the Gold Bracket. Waiting there was a team that handed us a loss in the championship match back in December at our very first tournament of the season.

When we met them again in today’s semifinals, one thing was clear: this team has grown!

The scoreboard showed it, but more importantly, their confidence, composure, and trust in one another showed it. Watching them take that match in two sets was one of my proudest moments as a coach.

Apparently they weren’t finished.

The girls were still hungry and went right back to work, closing out the championship match in two sets to bring home the gold.

Amazing. Just amazing!

What people see on the weekends can look effortless, but what they don’t see are the countless hours in the gym, the sweat, the tears, the sacrifices, and the commitment these athletes make every single day.

We were also without our starting libero this weekend. While we certainly missed having her on the court, the team adapted, adjusted, and found a way. That’s what great teams do.

When I say I’m proud, I mean it with a full heart.

Every player on this roster contributes. Every player matters. If there’s a weak link, good luck finding it. These girls are sisters on the court, and they fight for each other every point, every set, every match.

Now there’s only one thing left.

Nationals in Orlando, Florida!

It’s going to be hard watching this dream season come to an end, but we’re not finished yet.

Minnows 4-Day Intro to Volleyball Camp (Co-Ed Rising 1st-4th Grade)

Monday, June 8, 2026 - Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

We are excited to offer this program for rising 1st-4th graders! Coastline's Minnows Volleyball Camp will teach agility, coordination, and first touches on youth volleyballs. Get your child moving on the court – these clinics will lend to smoother footwork, better hand-eye coordination, and an introduction to the great game of volleyball along with fun & games with the kids.

We get a lot of questions about what camps young athletes should attend. For us, the answer is simple… train ALL positions when you’re young.

The athletes who stand out are the ones willing to learn beyond their “main” position. Great volleyball players become versatile enough to help their team in every situation.

This video is a perfect example. #14’s primary position is outside hitter, but here she is playing D/S, attacking from the back row, and stepping in to set the hitter when the play needed it.

That’s the difference between a positional player and a complete player.
