What do you love most about coaching at ACA?
Render - Its an honor to work with amazing young ladies and teach them about life, Jesus, and of course - the game of volleyball I love so much!
Whitaker - Christ being the center of our mission.
Whitson - Jesus come first in everything.
Secretarski - I enjoy being part of a program thats about so much more than volleyball.
Bass - I love being around all the girls and just getting to know them.

Asheville Christian Academy has announced the hiring of JR Cadot as the next Head Coach of the Lions Boys Basketball Program.
Coach Cadot brings a wealth of experience to ACA, with previous coaching stops at Cornerstone Christian School in Statesville, North Carolina, and Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas, one of the nation's premier high school basketball programs.
A standout player at Texas Christian University (TCU), Cadot earned All-Conference honors before embarking on a successful professional playing career in Europe that spanned several seasons. In addition to his playing and coaching experience, he has worked extensively with Crossfire Basketball both locally and internationally, helping develop players at various levels of the game. Cadot also owns and operates JRC Basketball Academy, where he continues to mentor and train young athletes.
“We are excited to welcome Coach Cadot to Asheville Christian Academy,” said Joe Johnson, Director of Athletics. “Coach Cadot brings a rich basketball background, playing at some of the highest levels in both the United States and around the world. He is a highly relational coach who will continue the competitive level of basketball that ACA fans have come to expect. He is a team player and will be an asset not only to our basketball program, but to our entire school community.”
Cadot's combination of high-level playing experience, proven coaching background, and commitment to athlete development positions him well to lead the Lions program into its next chapter.

More than 300 varsity letterwinners and parents gathered together to honor the hard work, dedication, leadership, and achievements of our student-athletes during the 2025–26 athletic year.
