Swampscott Elementary kiddos are needed THIS Sunday to walk in the Strawberry Festival Parade! Kids are encouraged to make posters representing their schools or the new Swampscott Elementary School.

Parade line-up is at 4pm at the middle school. Students can either be dropped off or parents can accompany them. There will be representatives from the current and new PTO there as well. Pick-up is at the end of the parade by town hall, where you can choose to stay for the town’s annual Strawberry Festival!

Please join us next Friday evening to support Stanley Elementary School's Drama Club participants!

June 7th at 6:30 pm
Swampscott High School Auditorium
Free to attend.

Drama Club students will perform in 2 Fractured Fairy Tales - The Big Bad Wolf and Jack & the Beanstalk

Doors open at 6:30pm and the 2 plays should last for about 1 hour.

Dear Families:

Thank you to everyone who submitted the interest form for Swampscott Elementary PTO. The first big step toward establishing the new organization is to elect Officers for the new organization.

The Officer positions to be elected are:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Secretary/Clerk

The election will be held online via a Google Form. The link to vote has been sent via Parent Square.

The form is now open and will remain open until Monday, June 10th at 8pm. Every family is invited to vote once.

P.S.: There are still plenty of opportunities to be involved and volunteer! While the PTO will only need the above positions elected and filled to kick off the Swampscott Elementary School PTO, the organization will run most smoothly with the additional support and involvement of parents/guardians.

In your message please indicate whether you are available morning (8:15-11:30), afternoon (11:15-2), all day, or even a smaller portion of the day!

We have been working hard to ensure there is a new PTO in place for Swampscott Elementary School before the 2024-25 school year begins. We need your help to make that happen!

Our elementary school community must vote to elect Officers for the new organization. Information about how and when the vote will take place will be shared very soon.

If you are considering running for one of the elected positions, we ask that you let us know by Friday, May 31st. Each of these positions can be shared between two individuals. If you would like to run as a ticket, i.e. President/Co-President, etc. that would be fine - please submit the form above with both names.

While the PTO will only need the above positions elected and filled to kick off the Swampscott Elementary School PTO, the organization will run most smoothly with the additional support and involvement of parents/guardians through Coordinators, Committees, Subcommittees. These roles and committees provide opportunities for parents to be involved on a more limited and/or “one off” basis.
