Emanuel County Rec Dept hosted the 2026 State FFA Field Day Competition on Thursday April 30th. 12 High School teams and 12 Middle School teams from across the state of GA competed in the event which ended up with over 250 students being present. Thanks to Ryan Smith for heading the event with the help of many GA Forestry Commission Foresters and Rangers.

🎉 Congratulations to our 79th Annual Pine Tree Festival Parade Float Winners! 🌲✨

Our judges had an incredibly tough decision this year, each entry brought creativity, spirit, and something special to the parade.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our participants and to every attendee who came out to support the festival, even through the rain. Your enthusiasm is what makes this tradition so meaningful year after year.
