Our special needs community deserves a better way to get out and enjoy life together. Right now, our staff use their own cars to take participants on outings, which makes it hard for those with limited mobility or autism to feel comfortable and safe. We’re working to buy a reliable used van so everyone can go places together — no more splitting up or struggling to get in and out.

Thanks to your support, we’ve already raised over a quarter of our goal, but we still need help to reach it. Every dollar goes directly toward this van, helping our participants experience community, joy, and independence.

They deserve to see the world, not just look at it through a window.
Look at these photos. You see a young man bravely taking one step at a time with his walker toward the sand. You see us lifting a student into a car—a daily struggle we face with so much love. These amazing young adults want what we all want: to have fun, to make friends, and to be part of the community.
But right now, we are stuck. Our current cars r too small, and we hate having to tell a student, "Sorry, u can't come today because there’s no seat." It’s heartbreaking.
We r fundraising for a 15-passenger van. This isn't just a vehicle; it’s a ticket to freedom and dignity for them. Help us make sure no one is left behind. They deserve the best, and with your help, we can give it to them. ❤️

Supporting special needs families to get reliable transportation means so much — it’s about giving these wonderful individuals the chance to join community outings and live fuller lives.

This message has been somewhat difficult to write, but we would like to be honest and say a word of heart to all of you.
True Love is currently under severe financial pressure.

We are accompanied every day by a group of adults and teenagers with special needs, and by the families behind them. We've always worked hard to keep a safe, stable, and warm space where they can come with peace of mind and be respected, taken seriously.

But, frankly, the operational pressures are now accumulating. The costs of rent, utilities, staff salaries, insurance, and basic materials needed for daily classes and activities are constantly being incurred. We've been trying to carry it on our own for a while, but it's getting harder and harder now.
We don't want to close down, and we don't want to let True Love disappear.

If you're willing to support us, whether it's a donation or a supply, it will go directly to the most basic and urgent places:
· Day-to-day expenses such as site rent and utilities
· Basic salary for teachers and staff
· Essential insurance and compliance spending
· Materials needed for daily participation in classes and activities

Simply put, these supports are helping them to continue to have a place to go, someone to be with and someone to take care of.

In addition to donations, we are also very open to material donations.

Today was truly special 💛

Lee’s family opened their home and welcomed everyone from True Love to spend the day together, sharing time, laughter, and genuine connection. That feeling of being welcomed and included meant so much to all of us.

For our community, being able to support one another, understand one another, and simply be together carries real meaning. Today, we saw that connection come to life in an easy, joyful way.

Through the food, crafts, activities, and the natural flow of conversation, the space was filled with warmth. It was the kind of comfort that doesn’t need many words — feeling understood, respected, and at ease.

Your thoughtfulness was present in every detail, and those sincere, heartfelt touches truly moved us.

☀️ The weather has been beautiful lately, and we took the chance to enjoy a lovely picnic at Lake Lanier! 🌊🍃
