The Thomas J. Blocker Society is saddened by the news of the tragic passing of Mr. Malcolm Jamal Warner. The award winning actor, author and musician became a good friend of TJBS when he served as our Master of Ceremonies at the 2023 Living Legends Gala. He did a phenominal job that evening and shared his commitment to assisting our mission as an organization. Mr. Warner, known for iconic role as Theo Huxtable on The Crosby Show, was an advocate for advancing health equity and increasing diversity within health care. We offer our earnest thoughts and prayers to his family. God bless and comfort them in their time of bereavement.

Lastly, Students did video testimonials and said their goodbyes.

It was a busy 5 days but it was great and enjoyable. The student “THANK YOUs, smiles and confidence made the effort more than worthwhile!
