"Could any of us ever have imagined that, after 17 years and 34 magical parties, we would still be going strong and making more of an impact in our community than ever? It staggers me to think of what we all have, together, created!" -Brenda Biederman

Welcome to our page! Let's Meet A Member! Introducing Rose Hollander:

"I had the honor to be asked by Brenda Biederman and Sandy Hardy to participate in the inauguration of mAIDens in December 2008. I am the giving circle’s treasurer and record keeper, and am part of the committee that reviews the grant requests. I love how the mission of helping women with an immediate hand up has impacted so many lives, in ways we cannot possibly imagine.

Now retired, I was a paralegal for my late husband, Stuart Hollander, and then with Dingeman and Dancer. I have served on numerous boards in the Grand Traverse region over the years, and enjoy community service. My love of food and cooking led to a sabbatical to obtain a chef's certificate. I now write a monthly food column for the Record Eagle, "At the Table," which focuses on how gathering people at the table builds community. Travel is important in my life and I have had many "off the beaten path" adventures!"

This photo was taken on the Arizona Trail last year.
