The Sutton Lions had our End of the Year Award banquet. We awarded April Brown as “Citizen of the Year” and this needs no explanation for everything she does for this town. We gave UniBank an award of appreciation for their generosity of being the Sutton Lions Corporate sponsor, and signed on to continue to be our corporate sponsor for two more years. We awarded two Sutton students with a $2,000 scholarship each, for academic achievements and their dedication to the Lions and this community. Finally awarded Meagan Church as our Lion of the Year for all of her leadership and dedication this past year. Thank you Sutton for another great year!

Sutton Lions Club, part of the Central Massachusetts Lions, came together in a powerful show of service, packaging 13,000 nutritious meals for families across Worcester County during Lions Clubs International’s Global Week of Service to Combat Food Insecurity. We have taken the trees down on The Town Common. The Sutton Lions just want to thank the sponsors and town support for the Trees on The Common. It’s a special event in our annual holiday seasons. For those who want trees for their farm animals, feel free to take as many trees as you like from the piles on the common. The town will give you a couple of days before they chip the trees.
