The final step is complete!! What an amazing Eagle Project, great job Evan. Wouldn’t have been possible without the help from Camosse Masonry Supply, Millbury Federal Credit Union, Portland Stone Ware, Lavoie Heating Service, LYNCH and everyone from the MILLBURY and Sutton communities who have reached out with donations, great comments beeps and waves as you drove by. Your support has been amazing!

07/25/2026

Day 6 our final day at camp. Our wilderness survival scouts came by in the morning a little cold but happy to have completed it. Next all of the first year scouts had their BSI graduation. They received their totin chip, fireman chit, and a special patch only BSI grads get. The rest of the scouts finish up their merit badges. Then after dinner it was on to Jaberguzzle. Games like slip and slide, dunk tank, and the WAR CANOE. It was a nail biter but we came out victorious!!!! After that was the campfire, several of our scouts got awards and did a skit. Overall, for the week, the weather was great and the scouts were great. Well done scouts.

Day 5 scouts have been eating well. Camp food has been pretty good. They working hard on their merit badges and using free block to do swimming,boating, shooting, and more. Also, all of the troop did the swamp romp. Mud everywhere. Karaoke and ice cream to end the day.

Day 4 started out a beautiful day with the first year scouts working on their totin chip at BSI . The rest of the scouts off to their merit badge courses which are going well. Then some rain in the middle of the day but it stopped in time for the Magee Reindeer Games. This year was different than in the past. A relay race, starting with a bike race ,then a mile run, then a tire flip, then a kayak race, to a bucket brigade, and finally a stretcher carry. All the scouts participated. They worked hard and did very well.

Day 3 we have a some rain but the scouts are still enjoying their merit badge courses and the adults are chipping in.

Day 1 went great. The scouts are settling in. Now breakfast day2

And just like that, they are off to camp! For lots of these Scouts it’s thier first time and for one it’s the last time! Have a great time kids, Treasure Valley here we come!

For those of you that drove through the rotary at Greenwood St. and McCracken Road in Millbury this evening wondering what’s going on, it’s the beginning of a wonderful Eagle Project. This Scout went before the Board of Selectman last Fall and was approved to erect a flagpole that will be dedicated to Gold Star Families in memory of his cousin Brian who was killed in Afghanistan in May of 2006. If you are interested in making a donation toward the supply of flags, please feel free to DM the Troop!

We had an amazing time participating i. The parade today! Thank you to all of the amazing people that put this unforgettable day together! Thank you Austin Gaska for pulling us along!!
