Flag contracts are still being delivered!

🇺🇸 Sutherland Youth Program Flag Program is Back! 🇺🇸

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks—our SYP members and kids will be out and about delivering Flag Contracts to residents within city limits!

There’s nothing better than seeing our community lined with flags on patriotic holidays ❤️🤍💙 And the best part? Your support helps fund youth activities right here in Sutherland!

✨ New This Year:
All flags will now be displayed using a mounted bracket (no more yard placement).

👉 Don’t have one? No worries—SYP will provide the bracket, but residents are responsible for mounting it.

📄 When you receive your contract, be sure to get signed up and return it by the deadline!

⚾️ SYP Needs Volunteer Coaches! ⚾️

Sutherland Youth Program is looking for 2 or more volunteer coaches for our Peewee Boys Baseball Team (ages 11-13).

Practices will begin at the end of April or early May, with games starting the week of Memorial Day and running through around the first week of July.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference, mentor young athletes, and help create a fun baseball season for our kids!

🌟⚾ Sutherland Youth Program Ball Field Clean-Up Day! ⚾🌟

We’re getting the ball field ready for an awesome season, and we need YOUR help! 💪

📅 April 11th
⏰ Starting at 12:00 PM – until we’re finished 😉
📍 Sutherland Ball Fields

🧹 Projects for the day include:
• Cleaning the concession stand
• Sprucing up the dugouts
• Putting up the batting cage
• Edging and field prep
• Dragging the field
• Organizing and cleaning equipment storage
•The list goes on and on and on…..

Bring your gloves, rakes, energy, and teamwork spirit! Many hands make light work, and this is a great way for players, parents, and community members to give back and kick off the season right 🙌

🏀 March Madness Fundraiser for the Sutherland Youth Board! 🏀

Think your luck (or basketball knowledge 😉) can carry you through March Madness? Join our NCAA Tournament Fundraiser to support the Sutherland Youth Board!

💰 Entry Fee: $100
🎟️ How it works: You’ll be randomly assigned an NCAA Tournament team!

Payouts depend on your seed:

🔢 Seeds 10–16
• Win $50 for every game your team wins
• Make it to the Sweet 16 → get your $100 entry back
• Example: If a 10 seed wins the championship, you could win $700!

⭐ Seeds 1–9
• Make the Sweet 16 → get your $100 entry back
• Make the Elite Eight → win another $100
• Continue winning and the payouts keep growing
• Example: If a 1 seed wins the championship, you win $300 + your $100 back

It’s a fun way to enjoy the tournament while supporting our local youth programs! 🙌
