Project Help Project Help was established to help veterans through their darkest hours! New items only are accepted for the back pack drive.

We also have a fund set up for emergencies for homeless vets to help with things such as food, critical bills to be paid, clothing, and much more. Our target areas are New Jersey and Florida, we do support the tri-state area as well. Gently used business attire, outerwear, foot wear, and toiletries are also greatly needed.

With Memorial Day approaching, we are reminded that each fold of a flag holds meaning. The final fold however, the one right before the flag is cradled and handed to a grieving family, says what words cannot.

We pause in silence for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We honor their memory, their families, and the weight of every fold that tells their story.

We will never forget.

Vet Fest will bring together resources, support services, food, music and community partners in one place to help those who have served get connected with the assistance they deserve.

Join the Veteran Su***de Prevention Coalition on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Farmingdale Village Green. Free entry, food and drinks. Come out, show your support and help spread the word. 🇺🇸

To salute the sacrifice of military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, May 13 has officially been proclaimed Children of Fallen Patriots Day. It’s a reminder that service and sacrifice extend far beyond the battlefield.

DAV remains committed to advocating for survivors and ensuring families of the fallen are supported, remembered and never forgotten.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who cooked, donated, and served today.
To those who made turkeys, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pies, and all the delicious sides — your kindness made this meal possible.

And to all the volunteers who came out and spent the day serving with us, we are deeply grateful for your time, hard work, and generosity.

Because of you, our veterans felt honored and appreciated this Thanksgiving.
