Another exciting meeting for the Rotary Club of Susanville! We had the privilege of welcoming Curtis Bortle as the newest transfer member! 🎉 Curtis' commitment to our community’s growth and well-being makes him a perfect fit for Rotary’s mission of "Service Above Self."

We also took a moment to honor several of our dedicated Rotarians for their incredible contributions to the PolioPlus Foundation.
​Because of their generosity and the continued efforts of Rotarians worldwide, we are closer than ever to a polio-free world. 💉✨ A big Thank You to Jim Chapman, Angie Crowley, Martin Balding, and Fred Autenrieb (not pictured).

💥 ​We are thrilled to introduce the two newest members of the Susanville Rotary Club: Ed Rex from Payless Lumber Supply and Larry Hulen from Lassen Ale Works Boardroom.

The Rotary Club of Susanville is officially inviting all local high school students to participate in our Annual Speech Contest! This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, enhance your college applications, and share your perspective with community leaders.

For 100 years, our members have been dedicated to improving our community, supporting our youth, and fostering fellowship right here in the heart of Lassen County. From our very first meeting in 1926 to our modern-day service projects, our mission has always remained the same: Service Above Self.

~Community Joins Rotary in Honoring Seniors on National Senior Citizens’ Day~

As the Rotary Club of Susanville celebrates its 100th year, community groups have come forward to support one of our most heartfelt initiatives — honoring our seniors on National Senior Citizens’ Day, with lunch celebrations on August 21st and August 23rd.

We’re grateful for the enthusiastic participation of such a diverse group of partners, including:
High Desert State Prison, Grocery Outlet, Plumas Bank, Susanville Supermarket IGA, Morning Glory, Dollar Tree, Walmart, and Milwood Florist & Nursery and Pet Store. Cultural and community organizations such as the local symphony, theater, museum, LLTT, and Pizza Factory are also joining the effort. We extend special thanks to individuals like Laura Roberts , who donated handmade scarves and blankets, and the Leve family, among many others.

The Rotary Club of Susanville welcomes any additional contributions as every donation helps ensure the success of this year's event and builds momentum for an even stronger celebration in Rotary’s 101st year.
