Susanville Elks Lodge # 1487 Elks was founded to promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. This Lodge proudly serves Lassen County.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is an American fraternal order and social club founded in 1868. It is one of the leading fraternal orders in the U.S., claiming nearly one million members. Chartered in May 1924, we welcome you to Susanville Lodge #1487 (B.P.O.E. #1487).

Susanville Lodge is dedicated to our community with a special emphasis on Veterans and children. Elks have spent more than $80,000,000 every year for benevolent, educational and patriotic community-minded programs in such fields as benefiting special needs children, sponsoring Elks National Foundation scholarships, scouting, athletic teams, veterans' works, a national "Hoop Shoot" free-throw contest involving more than 3 million children, physical and occupational therapy programs, and patriotic programs. We’re excited to invite you to a special dinner this evening at the Diamond Mountain Casino! We’ll be hosting a visit from our CHEA Northeast District Vice President Bill Convis, his wonderful wife, and our amazing District Leader Kathy Madeiros.

Please join us as we welcome Bill, his wife, and Kathy and enjoy a great evening together. We’ll gather at the bar inside Diamond Mountain Casino between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM, then move to our private dinning room at 5:30 PM for dinner .

We hope to see you there for good food, great company, and an opportunity to connect with our special guests !

Just a friendly reminder that we have our meeting today at 6:00 PM in the Casino Boardroom.
If you'd like to arrive a little early, join us at the restaurant at 5:00 PM for a bite to eat and some good conversation before we get down to business.

Susanville Elks Lodge #1487 is excited to donate $1,500 to Community Church in support of its Summer Lunch Program!
This program is such a valuable resource for our community, and we want to thank Community Church for taking the lead in making a difference for local families and children.

The Susanville Lodge warmly invites all members to join us tomorrow, April 9, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Masonic Lodge, located at 84 N. Lassen St Susanville CA, for our annual installation of officers and the initiation of new members .

We’ll be serving appetizers and are looking forward to an exciting year ahead ! We hope to see you all there !

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER: Tonight, the Elks will gather at the Masonic Hall (84 North Lassen St, Susanville Ca 96130 ) at 6pm to welcome our potential new members . Please use the Nevada Street entrance when you arrive. The meeting will begin at 7pm .

Members are invited to bring an appetizer to share. We’re excited about the opportunity to grow our membership and hope you’ll join us in giving our guests a warm welcome!

We’re excited to share that the Lodge has sold ! As we begin this next chapter, we’re looking forward to the journey ahead . For now, we’ll continue meeting at the casino boardroom @ 6pm ! (Dinner at 5 ) on our regular meeting days — the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the Month— until we move into our new Lodge.

Where will that be, you ask ? That’s the exciting part we’ll be working out together! We encourage all members to join us at these upcoming meetings so we can move forward in a direction that reflects everyone’s input.

We are a fellowship, and your voices matter. We truly look forward to hearing from all of you as we take these next steps together.
