Canada is looking for partners beyond the US, but we're ignoring the continent with the greatest potential: AFRICA!

📈By 2050, 1 in 4 people will be African. It's the youngest and fastest growing population in the world!
🏦Africa hosts 11 of the 20 world's fastest growing economies. It's truly an economic powerhouse!
💡With the highest rate of entrepreneurship in the world, Africa is teeming with innovation and talent!
..and yet, the continent only represents less than 2% of Canada's trade.

We've run the numbers. In the next 10 years, Canada could DOUBLE its imports and exports to Africa, bringing in over $33B in revenue while supporting Africa's growth and development! But that can only happen if we move from strategy to action.

Canada: it's time to stop overlooking the continent that powers the world.

Today marks three years since conflict erupted in Sudan, igniting what has become the current largest humanitarian crisis in the world.

Despite having endured relentless violence, displacement, and loss, local heroes are working every day to support each other and restore hope in their communities.

But global attention and political will have fallen dangerously short. For lasting peace, that needs to change.

This week, world leaders are gathering in Berlin. They have a choice: continue to look away, or take meaningful action in solidarity with the people of Sudan who have been surviving this crisis for three long years.
