🚴‍♂️🔥 Who’s Ready to Ride?! 🔥🚴‍♀️

Hey Amazing AJ Peeps! - WHO’S RIDING SATURDAY?!

📍 Meetup: 6 AM

HERE: Surprise Park parking lot—right between the community pool & pickleball courts (near the restrooms).

We’ve got two awesome ride levels, so pick your vibe and let’s roll!

🌟 Level 1: 11 miles through Sun City Grand (Great for anyone starting out).
⏩ Pace: 11-12 mph—cruising and enjoying the ride!

🌟 Level 2: 32 miles through SCW, with bonus miles for those who want more after getting back to the park! 🚀
⏩ Pace: 14.5-15.5 mph FINAL average (No Drop—speed depends on the group).

🎯 This is a NO-drop, NO-race ride! It’s all about camaraderie, fun, and safety. Let’s support each other, learn, and enjoy the ride together.

💡 A Few Ride Tips:

✅ Want more speed? Take the lead! But always check that the leader is 1-2 riders behind to keep the group together.
✅ Listen for calls like “broken” to keep communication flowing.
✅ Exact routes will be discussed before we roll.

****New start time****
Who”s riding? My fave day of the week is here!
Saturday, Feb 8th. At 8:15 AM.
Meetup at the Surprise Community Park. 30ish mile group ride through SCW! With a few bonus miles for those who want after.
Level 2, No drop ride. Final average speed between 14.5-15.5 mph.
Weather looks like it’ll be hitting almost 55 degrees and nice 3 mph wind slightly after wheels down. We got this! 💪

**** We all ride at our own risk since we're out here for fun, fitness, and good company. Always have hydration, a bright, working red rear light when you ride with us. Please pay attention to the safety briefing before each ride, know the hand signals for left, right, and stop, follow traffic signals, and ride single file in bike lanes when available.****

Hi AJ peeps. Due to my training ride for El Tour de Tuscan being scheduled for tomorrow in Ahwatukee, there will be no scheduled Average Joes ride tomorrow. See you NEXT Saturday!!!!

NEW MONTH….NEW TIME!
Amazing AJ peeps..WHO’S RIDING SATURDAY?? 🚴
September 7th meetup at 5:45 am.
Wheels down by 6:00 am.
WHERE: Surprise Park parking lot, between community pool and pickle ball courts (near restrooms)

Level 2 is riding the New “Beat the Heat” Summer Route…because of heat it will be approximately a 23-25 mile ride through Sun City Grand with a 14.5-15.5 mph FINAL average speed (No Drop, so speed is dependent on attendance)

Level 1 will be back once temps lower.

This is a NO-drop/NO racing ride, with:

Exact route will be discussed beforehand so all riders know the plan.

***Please, remember this is NOT a racing group. This is a community ride, in which we strive for camaraderie, supporting and learning from each other, and SAFETY.

***If you feel the need for a bit more speed, please take the pulling position, however, PLEASE continue to look back to ensure the leader is 1-2 riders behind you so you can hear directions and calls and the group is still together, and listening for the “broken” call.

FRIENDLY REMINDER. Tomorrow, Saturday Aug 24.

Level 2!!….Tomorrow’s ride is ON! See all tomorrow at Surprise Park Parking a lot at 5:30 am for 77 degree temps! Woohoo.

Level 1 will be taking a break until weather cools down.

The Average Joes cycle group is a tight-knit team that values collaboration and support. Every ride is marked by encouragement and camaraderie, with everyone looking out for each other. I just love our strong sense of teamwork that makes EVERY ride enjoyable.

Thanks to those who were able to make it out today! It was a GREAT ride! Looking forward to next week!
