Vets 4 Vets Flag Memorial

Vets 4 Vets Flag Memorial, honoring and remembering all veterans past and present, is located at Riverside Park, 205 E Main St in Suring, WI.

The Vets 4 Vets Flag Memorial was a dream and vision of V4V founder Dick Genal, who passed away in April 2019. Since then, Vets 4 Vets of NE WI, a small 501 c (3) non profit group based in Suring, WI has been working hard to make Dick's dreams and vision become a reality. Funding for the Flag Memorial is kept separate from our general fund- which is used solely for our group's mission of helping a

nd supporting our local veterans and veteran service and support agencies. Funds to support our vets is raised through raffles, brat frys, and other events. Funds to build this Flag Memorial are raised through fundraising drives that specifically state that the donation is going towards the Flag Memorial. We are currently looking for Paver Sponsors, who can with a minimum donation of $500 get an 8"x 8" paver custom engraved with their business or family name- or the paver can be used to honor or remember a veteran or a family member or loved one.

The wiring problem causing our flag spotlights to be not working recently has been resolved. Thank you to the volunteers that took care of this repair.

We installed our four Fall Sponsor Pavers today, bringing our total pavers to date to 77. We thank each and every one of you for supporting the Vets 4 Vets Flag Memorial at Riverside Park. ❤️🇺🇸

Our annual flag replacement was done today, in honor of Suring American Legion Post 283's Memorial Day Ceremonies, which will be held at the Flag Memorial on Monday. Details in the poster.

We installed our last Sponsor Pavers for this year. Pavers are still available, but they won't get installed until next Spring. Thank you to everyone for supporting the Vets 4 Vets Flag Memorial. ❤️🇺🇸

We clear-coated the eagle and soldier statues today, and installed the two pavers from our Spring order. We will be placing one more paver order before the snow flies. If you're thinking about ordering a paver in honor or in memory of your loved one, or if you simply want to honor our local veterans- please order yours soon. Contact us for details.
