Today is the day.β˜€

We're so excited to welcome our community to the Healing Together Community Fair this afternoon in Surfside Beach. This event was created to bring people together, connect families with resources, support mental wellness, and remind each other that none of us have to walk through life's challenges alone.

We'll have local organizations, community resources, activities for kids, food trucks, vendors, and lots of opportunities to connect with others in a positive and welcoming space.

If you're in the area, we'd love to see you there. Come as you are, bring your family, and spend the afternoon with us.

πŸ’™ EXCITING NEWS! πŸ’™

Daughters of Both Suns is proud to officially introduce the Spectrum of Hope Autism Support Program, a new initiative dedicated to supporting Black and Latino families navigating autism diagnoses, services, education, advocacy, and community resources.

As a parent-led organization, we understand the challenges many families face when trying to access support, find trusted providers, navigate school systems, and connect with community resources. Our goal is to help bridge those gaps through education, resource navigation, advocacy, and strong community partnerships.

🀝 We are currently seeking partnerships with:

βœ… Autism Organizations

βœ… ABA Providers

βœ… Occupational Therapists

βœ… Speech Therapists

βœ… Mental Health Providers

βœ… Pediatricians

βœ… Schools & Educators

βœ… Disability Advocates

βœ… Community Organizations

βœ… Faith-Based Organizations

βœ… Businesses Interested in Community Impact

If your organization serves autistic individuals and their families, we’d love to connect and explore opportunities to collaborate.

Together, we can create a stronger, more inclusive, and culturally responsive support network for Black and Latino families impacted by autism.

πŸ“£ BIG NEWS FROM DAUGHTERS OF BOTH SUNS!

We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Spectrum of Hope Autism Support Program, a new initiative dedicated to supporting Black and Latino families navigating autism diagnoses, services, education, and community resources.

As a parent-led organization, we understand firsthand how difficult it can be to find culturally responsive support and access the services our children need. This program was created to help families feel empowered, informed, and connected every step of the way.

Through advocacy, education, resource navigation, community partnerships, and family support, we hope to help close the gaps that too many families of color experience when seeking autism-related services.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and every family deserves support without barriers.

More details, resources, events, and opportunities to get involved will be announced soon.

πŸ’™ Together, we are building a stronger autism community for Black and Latino families.
