Noticed this rad chick at our cleanups over the summer?! has joined the team as our Conservation and Education Specialist. She super stoked on conservation and has LOTS of experience in sustainability.
“I’m a Conservation and Education Specialist with over 10 years of experience working to protect and preserve our planet’s wildlife. My career has spanned a variety of roles, from serving as a naturalist and crew member for the Pacific Whale Foundation, where I had the privilege of working alongside humpback whales, to serving as a stranding biologist, rescuing and rehabilitating sea turtles and marine mammals. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to work with Disney’s Animal, Science, and Environment team, where I helped create impactful educational programs and conservation initiatives.
My passion lies in connecting our community to our natural environments and inspiring action to protect the Earth. Whether it’s through hands-on conservation efforts or educational outreach, I believe that when people understand the beauty and importance of the natural world, they are more motivated to safeguard it for future generations.
In my free time, I enjoy scuba diving, often in search of megalodon teeth, and I split my time between Topsail Island and Costa Rica, immersing myself in the diverse wildlife of both locations. I am committed to making a difference, one project and one connection at a time.”
We’ll pick back up our cleans after the holidays! Be sure to give a big ole 🤙🏼 to Sadie when you see her 🪣
