Hello Riders!
A friendly reminder to purchase your trail passes! If you are a club member you get them for a discounted rate for the sleds WI registered in your name, they are $10 each. You can purchase those at www.awsc.org. You will need your member number which is on the address label of your Snowmobile News magazine, if you do not have that when on the site on the right side you will see "Membership Inquiry", you can find it there. If you cannot find it contact your club (please note your club annual membership must be up to date). If you are not a club member and whether you are a WI resident or out of you can purchase ahead of time at www.gowild.wi.gov this way you have time for your sticker to be mailed to you and you'll have the sticker before you ride. It's also never too late to become a club member! We always welcome new members with open arms!
Please note that the income for these trail passes comes completely back to the trail system! Because of the income from those sold last year 359 miles of trail development and improvements were approved! Supplemental funding will be 100%. The sales of these passes last year brought in just shy of $4 million and so far the sales this year are slightly over last year’s so this is so important to the trail system so please keep this in mind when purchasing these trail passes, these are only to benefit us all. :-)
The season is quickly approaching and while many activities in our world are limited being outdoors and in the remoteness and serenity of the woods is the best place to distance!
