Superior Basketball Association Keep up to date on all things SBA. The SBA offers basketball opportunities to over 250 kids annually within Superior, WI and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity is extended to boys and girls in grades 5-8. We offer both House League and Traveling Team formats.

Join the Superior Varsity coaching staff and former & current Spartan players for two days of high-intensity skill development.

We focus on the fundamentals: ball handling, footwork, and shooting.

When: June 8–9

Where: Superior High School (Auxiliary Gyms)

Cost: $60 per participant (Includes a Spartan Basketball T-shirt)

Dear SBA Families and Community Members,

The Superior Basketball Association has three Board of Directors vacancies. If you are passionate about youth basketball and want to make a meaningful impact in our community, we would love to have you consider serving.

Board terms are three years, beginning in May 2026. The board meets once a month for one hour. We are a working board, which means every member plays an active role. All board members take on specific jobs and responsibilities that help our association grow, improve, and provide the best possible experience for our players and families.

At the Annual meeting, once the president initiates floor nominations, any member can propose a candidate, but the candidate must be present at this meeting in order to be considered. Candidates must be 18 years or older. Self-nominations are permissible.

If the candidate accepts the nomination, they will introduce themselves and tell the board why they are interested in becoming a board member. Ballot voting will take place, if needed.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, build relationships, and help shape the future of basketball in our community. We are excited to welcome new leaders who are ready to roll up their sleeves and be part of something special!

If you are interested in serving, please attend our Annual Board Meeting on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 5pm.

These young men wrapped up the season and their travel basketball careers today at the Badgerland State Tournament. Though they fell short of one of their big goals this weekend they represented well and finished strong with a 3-1 record and were champions of the tier 1 silver bracket.

They end the season with a 30-8 record while playing some tough competition around the midwest.

It’s been an incredible 5 years spent together learning and growing. What began in 4th grade with a motley crew of little rugrats ended today with an incredible group of 8th grade young men.

Every year this team looked different. New faces came and went, but each of the 15 young men that played not only contributed to the success of this group, but left their mark on it with their unique personality.

Although our team’s makeup changed, the goal on the court was always simple and always the same. Bring a great attitude and effort. Improve every day. They did.

These boys started local…winning, losing, and growing. By the end….TODAY….they earned the right to play some of the best in Wisconsin. They got to play some of the best and see they have more work to do…. they also saw they are close and capable.

👑These girls did it! So unbelievably proud of them all for playing their hearts out, sticking together, battling through adversity, and stepping it up in the biggest moments. They were at their best this weekend and we got it done! They never stopped believing and it showed. 💯

🥇3-0 Champions

💫These girls balled out today with wins over Farmington, Eastview, and Rosemount in the championship.

👀They have won 4 out of their last 5 tournaments and are playing their best basketball of the season as we wrap up our season next weekend at the WBCA State Tournament in the Wisconsin Dells.

👏🏻Beyond proud of this team for everything they have accomplished this year and the improvements we have made in all aspects of the game. One final weekend together…
