Join us for a virtual Youth Mental Health First Aid class on Wednesday, September 30. This is a powerful opportunity to build the skills our communities urgently need. This course is designed specifically for adults who regularly interact with youth and want to better understand how to identify, support, and respond to mental health concerns in adolescents. Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognize signs of mental health or substance‑use challenges, respond with confidence, and connect someone to appropriate support. It’s practical, evidence‑based, and immediately useful in both professional and everyday settings.
The cost of this class is $50.

Under Wisconsin Act 42, schools are now required to have policies about student cell phone use during the school day. In response, UW-Madison Division of Extension is offering the Wisconsin School Phone Bans Webinar Series, a three-part series designed to support school leaders, educators, and families as they navigate student cell phone policies. This series will share practical tools, research-informed guidance, and realistic strategies for supporting students at school and at home.
