2026-2028 GFWC-NC President Cynthia W. Hewett presented a $600 donation to Brunswick Arts Council Executive Director Mary Beth Livers on behalf of GFWC-South Brunswick Islands. The donation was awarded as part of the 2024-2026 GFWC of NC President’s Special Project “ Find Your Beat, Join the Rhythm” with a focus on Arts in our local communities!

Many thanks to all of the GFWC-South Brunswick Islands Clubwomen who work so tirelessly to raise money for our scholarships. At tonight’s West Brunswick High School Senior Awards Night, we presented over $10,000.00 in scholarships. A special thanks to Penny Redwine and Chris Angotti’s families for their contributions that allow us to continue recognizing these amazing students and help them further their education. Congratulations to all of these special WBHS Seniors! They will make a difference!!❤️

What a special night honoring members of our community!

On Tuesday, April 28th, members of GFWC-South Brunswick Islands met at the beautiful Le Volte in Ocean Isle Beach for our April General meeting. To begin the evening, we invited several organizations to join us as we disbursed $27,315 to aid their efforts in serving our community!!!

Afterwards we moved inside to “shower” a few of our scholarship recipients from West Brunswick High School; the three Senior honorees were given new backpacks stuffed with gifts and gift cards to make their transition to college life a little easier. They were awarded $9,700 collectively to help ease the burden of college tuition!!! Congratulations to all! Our future is definitely in good hands!
