Haiti’s children are adrift in a world of chaos. Before the devastating earthquake in Haiti on January 12th, 2010, there were a substantial number of children without parents to raise them and provide for them. Today, the numbers of orphaned children is astronomical. Our vision is to help these children get help, to stop the loss of their childhood, their innocence. There are health concerns, malnutrition concerns, educational concerns, their lives have been destabilized. We are focusing our efforts one orphanage at a time….to provide those things that will make the difference to children. A pair of shoes, ribbons for their hair, a soccer ball, school tuition, a book to read, a warm meal. Our program provides direct aid, we have an on the ground presence in Haiti, and what we receive in donations goes directly to our predetermined orphanage, there is no “middleman.”
Omega Kingdom Ministry is a registered 501(c)3 charity whose mission is to help children in Haiti by raising children out of poverty. Omega Kingdom Ministry, an independent non-governmental social development organization that assists orphaned Haitian children by providing food, shelter, clothing and basic needs. We want children to be children, proud of their heritage, able to develop positive self-esteem and learn their values on which to build a successful life. We invest in the futures of thousands of children in the community to make sure they can focus on their education and the joy of being a child in order to become independent young adults, the future of Haiti. Haiti’s children are adrift in a world of chaos.
