Today's service hit a bit different. My friend Magan Oreilly and I took sodas from Lifepoint Church downtown. I didn't plan on staying as I had a few important personal things to get done. We noticed a little boy walking around in his underwear. Megan was concerned, but from experience I was sure him mom was close by. We eventually spoke with the mom and she shared her heart wrenching story with us.

Megan offered to pay for hotel for a night. We drove behind then to the hotel. Unbeknownst to Magan the boy told me he wish we could pay for 3 nights. Megan paid for 3 nights and I told her that the boy just verbalize that wish a few moments before. The mom is supposed to start a job next Wednesday, which will help change their situation.

God answered that boys prayers and used Magan as their angel today.

I love you friend. Thanks for going above and beyond to help that single mother today.

Serving Saturday
My cousin Karen and I served alongside Project Downtown Fort Lauderdale and several other organizations today. There was so much food. Chicken, Mac and cheese, pasta, sandwiches, snacks, sodas, water. Everyone had more than enough and we had to go to a 2nd location to do another distribution. We even stopped alongside the road and gave bags of food, juice and water.
Thanks Pastor Rob of LifePoint for always continuing to our outreach.
