Yesterday I took the pregnant Momma kitty for an ultrasound. She is from the commercial area I have been helping for over 2 months.

I found a awesome foster but we were worried that she has not had her babies and its been about 2 weeks.

GREAT NEWS, we saw 4 strong heartbeats and Momma is doing Great, but she is just not ready. This Saturday is a full moon and the vet said she may be giving birth this Saturday.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that everything will go well with her delivery ❤️🙏❤️

Thank you Adriana Buenaventura for saving Luis’s life and fostering him.

Today Luis is getting surgery to treat his ear hematoma. He has a bad ear infection and without this surgery the ear will get worse and so will the infection.

We were not able to raise all the funds for his surgery so if you would like to help Luis, please donate, every bit counts ❤️🥰❤️ Thank you…

So tomorrow is my Birthday and I usually do a fundrasier for my rescue. Not sure why its not listed on Facebook but Suzie Q Zoo, Inc is an active 501c3 Non Profit that mainly helps kitty cats, but we have helped many doggies along the way.

I am asking if you can consider donating to my Rescue so I can help a kitty named Luis and a doggie named Janet and others.

Luis has an ear hematoma and Janet needs to be spayed and have a Mastectomy 😢 Both their stories are sad, as most are.

I have created a Cuddly Fundraiser to help these two. An amazing group has pledged to help with $400 to help Luis get his surgery.

It’s been a bit over 2 months since I made a silent promise to a kitty I helped trap that was sent to Heaven. She lived on the streets in a commercial area 😢

It has been emotionally, physically and financially exhausting but soooo worth seeing almost 40 cats & kittens in a better situation now.

There are sooooo many people that helped me. Whether it was help me trap, foster, drop off / pick, helping with medical bills.

A big THANK YOU to All About the Cats for helping the sweet ones go on transport to find their forever homes up North ❤️😻❤️

I have tagged many on this thread. THANK YOU to Each and EVERYONE of YOU. I alone can not do what I do ❤️ If I have forgotten your name please forgive 😊

This video will give you a glimpse of the last 2 months and show you the faces of the furballs that have a better life now ❤️😻❤️

As many of you know I spend almost every free minute I have (after work and life responsibilities) rescuing animals. It’s a drive I have that I just don’t understand. All I know is I have to help the animal suffering or in need.

As it happens to many people, lines are blurred and your body takes over on autopilot. Before you realize it, you are deep s**t in it and you have neglected yourself.

Balance, I hear that word so often and yet it’s so hard to achieve. Balance. Maybe if I say it or write it enough it will become part of me…

Last Wednesday I booked two appointments with two animal specialist in Stuart, yes Stuart almost 2 hours from where I live for a cat named Grey and the other for the dog named Tucker. Both part of the many, many animals under my care…

I woke up at 5am to start the trek. I Slept very little the night before and ran out of the house in shorts and flip flops at 5:02am. It was actually a cold morning in South Fl that day. I remember thinking “this is not good” as I stepped onto the wet cold grass with Tucker to make sure he went to the bathroom before the long ride. Luckily at some point I remember I had a pair of overalls in my car so I put them on mid trip.

The journey was long and driving back home my body was throbbing bc I just can’t handle driving long distances. I remembered saying I can’t wait to get home and then as I’m about 15 minutes from home traffic has stopped because a 150 pound tortoise is crossing the street. Seriously, I can’t make up some of the s**t that happens to me.

While my body was telling me to just get home my soul and core could not just drive by and not help that tortoise. Luckily it all worked out, I got the Tortoise to the Wildlife center and I finally made it home. I Raced to my home office to work on the task I was not able to do while I was on my cross country trek and after a few hours my body is still throbbing and that’s when I feel it, the fever started 😫

I tested positive for Covid and spent Christmas in isolation with my husband.

This is to REMIND EVERYONE listen to your body. Your body is incredible and knows it’s limits. I normally am not one to set goals for the future year but maybe it’s time. I will start with Balance and truly try to implement that into my life. While I want to help every suffering animal that crosses my path the reality is I am one person and I will be of no use to anyone if I am sick.

I Love you Facebook Family !!! Please remember to listen to your body and inner self. We are magnificent beings and we can never forget it ❤️

Here are some cute pics and a video of Tucker from that day.
