🩺🩻Surgery Day at SMS to target the important task of analyzing characters. 🩺🩻 "Engaging Experiences in ELA” Grant

The English classes at Sunnyvale Middle School had Surgery Day to target the important task of analyzing characters. Students worked together to review the characters' symptoms, diagnose their traits and motivations, and identify their lessons learned. Today was made possible by the Sunnyvale Education Foundation choosing to fund the grant for "Engaging Experiences in ELA," which is helping the SMS English team increase student understanding of critical reading and writing skills through classroom transformations that are designed to help students learn while creating lasting memories.
