The North Phoenix Prevention Alliance (NOPAL) coalition is a community driven organization focused on reducing youth substance abuse and the harms associated with it. Our work in the Sunnyslope community focuses on the VAMOS sub-committee, a volunteer based youth group that uses a leadership curriculum to reach youth and their peers with positive anti-drug messaging. viding families with Rx Armory prescription drug safes to keep drugs out of the hands of youth in the home, an adult peer-leader program, the annual 4/20 Bowl-Out, and community education presentations.
