All we can say is WOW!
Sunbury showed up yesterday in a way that completely exceeded our expectations. We had a record turnout for The Sunbury Sizzle & Sounds, and there was nothing better than looking around the Square and seeing it packed with people from our community enjoying the day together. It was an incredible turnout and one we won’t soon forget.
An event this size does not happen because of one person or one organization. It happens because an entire community gets behind it. To every sponsor who contributed, every local business and organization that supported us, and every person who came out and spent the day with us, THANK YOU. Your support is what allows us to keep growing this event year after year.
And to our volunteers, we truly cannot thank you enough. You gave your time, worked long hours, filled in where you were needed and handled the countless behind-the-scenes jobs most people never see. We simply could not have pulled off a day like yesterday without you.
We would even like to thank the complainers. You always keep us humble, give us something to talk about and, occasionally, even give us a good idea for next year. 😉
But seriously, yesterday was one for the books. Thank you, Sunbury, for showing up in record numbers and making this year's Sizzle the best one yet!
