Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Marta!

Marta Mitkovska is 12 years old, has been riding for 6 years, and as a cheetah print lover... will find herself right at home here on Team Be Good!

Marta is also someone who knows what it means to fight her way back to something she loves. After suffering a concussion last fall, getting back on her bike has been a big part of her recovery. And this summer, she's going for it: bikepacking adventures, training goals, and doing it all alongside people who share her stoke for the sport.

We are so glad you're here, Marta. Let's ride.

Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Phoebe!

Phoebe Andersen is 12 years old and rides on the Adventure For All gravel team, the first competitive gravel team for humans with exceptionalities! She wants to see more girls and more women in the cycling world and dreams of having strong mentorship as a pillar in her biking career.

It's hard to imagine a more perfect match for this program.

"I want to be around other girls and women who ride," she says, "and I'd love to learn more from others who have been riding longer than I have."

We love that energy, Phoebe. Welcome to the crew!

Calling allll the women creatives!

Our Creative Girls' Mentorship Program is reopening for applications. After an incredibly generous donor stepped up, this program is back online. And we gotta say... we couldn't be more excited.

Here's the down low:

📸 Mentees will work one-on-one with an incredible and accomplished media pro, like Lisa Slagle of Wheelie Creative or Anne Keller.

👧🏾 Some experience required! This opportunity is for female-identifying outdoor and sports photographers and videographers looking to build their portfolio.

🚲 Mentees will be doing pre-production planning for content capture at Rebecca's Private Idaho alongside Be Good Foundation and our brand partners. Then you'll stay in it through post-event editing. The full picture, start to finish.

Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Leila!

Leila Streb is 16 years old and has been riding for 6 years. She's also been paying attention, noticing where girls are missing from the sport, feeling the weight of being one of the few on her team, and deciding to do something about it.

"Cycling has given me an outlet to manage stress and anxiety, it has given me a community, taught me discipline, and how to work hard for things I love," she says. "I want to advocate for more girls on bikes."

That's exactly why this program exists... and we can't wait to see Leila shine at RPI in September!

Attention, Arcata and Humboldt County friends!

The Blood Road film is coming to you tomorrow, Wednesday, May 21, at the The Minor Theatre in downtown Arcata. This is an incredible story of our founder, Rebecca Rusch, her journey along the Ho Chi Minh trail, and a testament to the bike as a vehicle for good.

This showing is free for all veterans, native family + youth, and adaptive riders. Otherwise, we suggest a $20 donation so Mountain Bike Tribal Trail Alliance (MBTTA) can keep spreading stoke and access to bikes for all.

See you there!

And if you want to host a Blood Road screening and fundraiser in your community, reach out to us! It's the perfect way to gather your local community to celebrate the power of the bike.

Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Lia!

Lia Hultgren is 13 years old and has been riding for 9 years. That's most of her life. She plans to learn all she can during her mentorship so she can become one herself. And if that's not Be Good spirit, we're not sure what is.

She'll be travelling all the way from Virginia to join us at Rebecca's Private Idaho this fall, and we can't wait!

All smiles at Rebecca's Private Idaho. Be Good magic is everywhere during race weekend ✨

It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year and the culmination of months of dedication: our girls’ mentees finally take to the gravel, and fellows from across the country gather to compete. And after the hard work is done, we gather under the Idaho peaks to celebrate community, teamwork, and the gift of movement. These are the moments that stay with us long after the finish line.

We hope you'll join us in 2026.
