Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Kendall!

Kendall Owen is 16 years old, has been riding for 4 years, and she's back for more.

As a returning mentee from 2025, Kendall knows what this program is about. In 2026, she's got a clear goal: get stronger on gravel and keep growing as a female cyclist. We're thrilled to have her again!

Welcome back, Kendall. We can't wait to see you in September!

Stay tuned to meet more of the incredible athletes

Big news! We’re thrilled to welcome BaseCamp Train Where You Belong as a partner for our Girls Ride/Race Mentorship Program.

BaseCamp has been a guiding force for Rebecca's Private Idaho athletes, including our founder Rebecca Rusch , for years. They're offering not just expert coaching and nutrition advice, but a true sense of community. That spirit is what we’re most excited to share with our mentees.

This year, BaseCamp is stepping in with tailored training plans to help our mentees prepare for RPI, plus resources for parents and nutrition support along the way. And with Coach Tina as our dedicated “team coach,” every mentee will have the encouragement and guidance they need to show up confident and ready.

We’re deeply grateful for BaseCamp’s generosity and belief in our mission. Partnerships like this are what make our mentorship program possible and so meaningful.

If you’re ever looking for a coaching community that truly cares, BaseCamp is the real deal: joinbasecamp.com

Stay tuned for more updates! 💛

Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Tallulah!

Tallulah Gerald is 11 years old and has been riding for 6 years.... which is a lot of years when you're only 11. When asked why she wanted to join the program, she kept it simple: her sister did it and had a lot of fun.

There's something special about a program that spreads the way this one does, sister to sister, cousin to cousin, friend to friend, one great experience at a time.

Tallulah, we're so happy you're joining the team and we hope you have fun... lots of it!

Stay tuned to meet more of the incredible girls in our 2026 Girls' Mentorship program. 🚴‍♀️

Last call for women's creative mentorship applications!

Apply by Monday, June 15th, to be considered for this opportunity.

Let us tell you a little more about who you'd be learning from....

Anne Keller is a longtime photographer for Bike Magazine as well as a professional pizza connoisseur (seriously). Now, she's back behind the lens full-time, shooting for Patagonia, Pivot Cycles, Yeti, Juliana, Osprey, and others... and she brings to her work the same energy she brings to her favorite rides: always going big, never shying away from the hard things, and bringing home the best story to tell every single time.

Lisa Slagel founded Wheelie Creative in her early twenties, built from chairlift conversations and trailhead networking into a studio trusted by The North Face, HBO, Panasonic LUMIX, and Cervélo. Her work lives at the intersection of performance, storytelling, and identity, and it's the kind of work that feels less like advertising and more like culture.

If this opportunity sounds perfect for someone you know, please share it with them.

Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Marta!

Marta Mitkovska is 12 years old, has been riding for 6 years, and as a cheetah print lover... will find herself right at home here on Team Be Good!

Marta is also someone who knows what it means to fight her way back to something she loves. After suffering a concussion last fall, getting back on her bike has been a big part of her recovery. And this summer, she's going for it: bikepacking adventures, training goals, and doing it all alongside people who share her stoke for the sport.

We are so glad you're here, Marta. Let's ride.

Meet our 2026 Ride + Race mentee, Phoebe!

Phoebe Andersen is 12 years old and rides on the Adventure For All gravel team, the first competitive gravel team for humans with exceptionalities! She wants to see more girls and more women in the cycling world and dreams of having strong mentorship as a pillar in her biking career.

It's hard to imagine a more perfect match for this program.

"I want to be around other girls and women who ride," she says, "and I'd love to learn more from others who have been riding longer than I have."

We love that energy, Phoebe. Welcome to the crew!

Stay tuned to meet more of the incredible girls in our 2026 Girls' Mentorship program. 🚴‍♀️
