Another garden haul!

We donated another 66 pounds to the Sunshine Pantry at Sunshine Place today!

This week’s harvest included kale, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, leeks, cucumbers, and sage.

That brings our 2026 total to 253 pounds donated! 🎉

We’re getting closer to beating last year’s record of 369 pounds. Only 117 pounds to go!

We want to give a special shoutout to Keene Garlic for donating the leeks! 💚

Another amazing garden haul! 🥔🥒💚

Tonight we donated another 67 pounds of fresh produce to Sunshine Pantry at Sunshine Place, bringing our season total to 187 pounds so far! This haul included potatoes, leeks, zucchini, cucumbers, and kale!

This was our first year growing potatoes and leeks. A huge thank you to Keene Garlic for generously donating the potatoes, leeks, and onions we've grown this summer. Your support gave us the opportunity to try something new and helped us grow even more fresh food for our community.

It's been such a fun learning experience this summer, and we're so grateful to everyone who has helped make our pantry gardens such a success!

Garden Donation Update!

We're excited to share that we've now donated a total of 120 pounds of fresh produce to the Sunshine Pantry at Sunshine Place so far this season! 🥬🧅

Last year, we donated a total of 369 pounds, and we're working hard to beat that record this year! Please reach out if you want to work together to help us reach this goal!

Another great harvest for our pantry garden! 🥬🧅🍅

Today we donated 37 pounds of fresh produce to Sunshine Pantry, including onions, kale, a few tomatoes, a zucchini, and a few yellow squash.

That brings our running total to 51 pounds donated so far this season! We're excited to keep the harvests coming and see how close we can get to beating last year's donation total of **369 pounds**. Thank you to everyone who helps make these donations possible! 💚

Screaming happy birthday to Janis, who turns 80 today! 🎉🩵

Just last week she harvested her very first zucchini and told us, “I’m having the most fun here, I might get a bigger plot next year.”

It’s been so special seeing how much happiness gardening brings to people. It’s never too late to start! We are so happy Janis decided to garden with us this year!! 😊🌱

🌱 First Harvest for Sunshine Pantry! 🌱

We’re excited to share that our very first harvest for the Sunshine Pantry at Sunshine Place is in… 14 lbs of fresh kale, rhubarb, and onions 🥬🌱🧅!!

It feels great to kick off the season by giving back and supporting local families through the food pantry.

We’ll also be keeping a running tally as we work toward beating last year’s record of 369 lbs donated!
