Developing athletes and instilling character through swimming.

Storm has swimmers from Sun Prairie and its surrounding areas, age 6-60, competing in town and around the country. We work extremely hard to create a safe, challenging environment for anyone interested in participating in the sport, with a total roster of over 200 swimmers.

Just some practice updates for the start of this week!

Tonight: Practice at East is squished together a little bit, with the first group starting later and the last groups starting earlier. West practices are unchanged.

Tuesday: Everything is normal!

Wednesday: Pool staffing remains a challenge for lifeguards, so we’re condensing Wednesday night. All practices will be at SP East.

Thursday: Stay tuned for an update on whether Typhoon, Senior, and Performance will have practice.

Thanks for your flexibility!

This year, USA Swimming began recognizing age group programs based on how their swimmers joined, improved, stayed in the sport, competed, and completed their IMX events. We're proud to say that Storm Aquatics finished #90 in the entire United States, 31st in the nation among teams our size, and #3 overall in Wisconsin. We love sharing the sport with our swimmers and they seem to love it, too!

Our Ironman volunteer session about a week ago was a big success! We had about 40 people representing Storm Aquatics at a Runner Aid station, where we handed out water, food, and other refreshments to the athletes. The kids did great job bringing a positive attitude and working hard.

Thanks everyone who joined us!

With Sun Prairie West hosting a home meet Friday night and some lifeguard staffing issues, we are looking at a few changes for Friday. No morning practice Friday and everyone is at East in the evening. Saturday we are at Sun Prairie West!

After last week's start of the season, we kicked back and enjoyed a team cookout at Orfan Park on Saturday. The food was great, our swimmers got to enjoy each other outside the pool, and even our parents made new friends!

As we get ready to kick off the first official week of Storm practices, we're looking out for....well, storms. Three groups are scheduled for dryland tonight, and we do in fact need *dry land*. We'll keep you posted as to potential changes, but here's the draft for this week!
