We, Connor Nikolay, Ryan Newquist, and Ashley Unmacht, are three high school seniors with one goal: to stop the stigma. 1 in 4 adults in the United States suffer from a diagnosable mental illness, and 1 in 5 teens will develop a mental illness before their 18th birthday. This is something very prevalent in today's world, yet there isn't much talking; this is where we saw an opportunity. We want ou

r peers suffering with mental illnesses to know they aren't alone and that it's okay to ask for help. We want our peers that don't suffer from mental illness to understand what having a mental illness truly means, in that it is solely a chemical imbalance in a person's brain, and that we should support each other, regardless of mental-state, because in fact, we all may be different, but we're all .
