At 17, Lane is a national snocross racer with world, national, state and regional wins. After a below-knee amputation in 2023, he returned to racing with an activity-specific prosthesis.

His “I can, I will” spirit is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when young athletes have access to the right prosthetic care. 💜

Jessie's Journey: Limb Laugh Love participated in this event- Focus, held in the Fox Valley

While limb loss can happen due to a variety of reasons, automobile and motorcycle accidents is at the top of that list.

Drive Sober.

Community members are invited to share their thoughts and experiences with health care, benefits, and resources that support their everyday lives.

Tony Memmel is coming to Amputee Coalition National Conference 2027 (ACNC27)

Tony grew up in Waukesha, where is parents still reside. Tony’s mom, Katie Kolberg Memmel wrote a book capturing what it was like to be a mom to a limb different child from birth to college graduation. (Five Fingers, Ten Toes) Tony is limbitless and continues to make his parents and Wisconsin proud as he inspires the world!

Breaking News: We're excited to welcome musician, songwriter, and disability advocate Tony Memmel to ACNC27 as a guest artist!

Born with one hand, Tony taught himself to play guitar using an adaptive cast he created from duct tape. His passion for music has since taken him to 47 states and 28 countries, where he shares his experiences with limb difference through music and storytelling. From children's hospitals and classrooms to international stages, Tony's performances celebrate creativity, connection, and the power of finding your own way.

We can't wait for Tony to share his music with the limb loss and limb difference community at ACNC27: Fireside Connections – Where Every Story Finds Its Light!
