E-bikes, e-scooters, & e-motos: Is anyone in charge? Join us for this much needed Community Conversation on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 6-7:30pm at our Sun Prairie Public Library.

Electric micromobility devices (e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-motos) suddenly seem to be everywhere these days. But how do we know which ones belong where, and how do we make sure their spread improves mobility and convenience for all without endangering their riders or others? Join SPARC for a discussion with two experts currently in the thick of efforts to manage this increasingly complicated issue for our communities and neighborhoods.

Here are some election-related dates we want to remind everyone about.

*November 3, 2026 is Election Day*

Absentee ballots were mailed on Thursday, September 3rd for any voter that had a valid request on file at that time. Now any new requests received will be processed and mailed within 24 hours.

In-Person Absentee Voting will start on October 20, 2026 and occur at City Hall. Watch for more details coming soon.

Registration Deadlines:
October 6, 2026 – Last day for voters to establish residence for the General Election. Voters moving after this date must vote from their prior address as they will not meet the residency requirement.
October 14, 2026 – Registering to vote by mail or online for the General Election ends this day.
October 30, 2026 – Registering in-person at the Clerk’s Office for the General Election closes at 5:00 p.m. this day.

You can register on Election Day at your polling place, but registering ahead of time helps you avoid potential delays and ensures you have extra time, if needed, to find proof of residency.
