We are powered by families who give their time and talents to make each season a great experience. If you’re looking for a way to get more involved, meet other hockey families, complete your DIBS requirements and make a meaningful impact, we have several opportunities available this season.

Interested in a committee role? Please submit a 3–4 sentence statement of interest by Friday, September 11 at noon to [email protected]. Committee positions will be announced following the September 13 Board meeting.

We will be hosting two jersey and sock try-on sessions next week for Sq**rt, PeeWee and Bantam players:

📅 Wednesday, September 9 | 6:30–8:30 p.m.
📅 Thursday, September 10 | 7:15–9:00 p.m.

Please bring your player’s chest protector and shin guards to ensure the best fit. If you cannot attend either date, please contact your level rep.

New Players: Please make every effort to attend a try-on session. Jerseys cannot be returned, so getting the correct fit is important. At the session, we’ll record each player’s jersey and sock sizes and include them in our group order.

Replacement Jerseys: Players who need a replacement jersey should email [email protected] by September 18. Please attend a try-on session if you are unsure which size to order.

Replacement Socks: We are purchasing socks in bulk, which will be available for purchase at the rink closer to the beginning of the season.

The Cap City Cougars Girls Varsity Hockey Team is hosting its 1st Annual Cap City Cougar Cup Golf Outing on Saturday, September 19, at Prairie Pines Golf Course. The Cougars represent players from Waunakee, DeForest, Sun Prairie, East Madison and LaFollette. Funds raised help support team travel, equipment, and training opportunities, player recognition and more.
